Designed for beginners. They do an excellent job of holing your hand through the on-boarding process and through the create a website with WordPress process. They have an easy to use interface that makes creating and managing your websites easy.
Good hosting. There hosting is quite good and your website and blog will load quickly and easily.
Decent support. When I created an addon domain, the SSL was not properly installed. Support fixed this in minutes upon contact.
Fair pricing. Blue Host, unlike Siteground does not have a dramatic jump in price after the introductory period. Their choice and choice plus plans are ideal for a medium sized website that gets around 1000-2000 visitors a day (or 60,000 pageviews).
Here are the cons:
For addon domains you must create a sub domain. But with Blue Host the sub domain was not properly redirecting to the domain. That means I had a sub domain and a domain with EXACTLY the same content. A huge issue and support was not able to solve.
However, you can fix this yourself quickly and easily by setting up a 301 redirect as shown in the video.
